Jeremy Thomas -- April 2 at 9:35pm: The reality of some Anomalies as plasma based lifeforms

April 2 at 9:35pm

The reality of some Anomalies as plasma based lifeforms move the argument between Evolutionary ideas and Intelligent Design ID ideas beyond our little and precious planet. As in others cases in the history of science new insights and observations had moved our attention beyond our Earth centric or anthropocentric narrow points of views.

Jeremy Thomas-- April 2 at 1:57pm: Evolutionary and Intelligent Design ideas are both wrong.

April 2 at 1:57pm

Evolutionary and Intelligent Design ideas are both wrong.

In Biology there had been a very long "fight" between two factions: Evolutionary ideas vs. Intelligent Design ideas.

If you visit any group or forum online that favors any of these two points of view you will notice immediately the symmetries in their arguments.

Both groups use "evidence" to support their positions and both groups are saying that the given evidence is a clear demonstration of their position validity.

As it had been said: For the believer no evidence is necessary but for the skeptic no evidence will be ever enough. This is a very symmetrical argument that assumes implicitly that there are only two possibilities in the given argument.

The reality of Anomalies renders invalid both parts of this argument because both parts had ignored or were ignorant of a third element that changes the whole equation.

As in many other old or new debates the reality of Anomalies is a new element that had never been taken in count and it changes everything.

Jeremy Thomas -- April 1 at 9:03pm: The Balloons' cultists

The Balloons' cultists.

Posted originally Nov 22, 2014 at ufonv.

The balloon-explain-everything crew is really big, I call them the "balloon cultists".

What they will do then when there is only the "tail", but not the actual balloon top part?

Like in this case:

These people are the real balloons' cultists because that is the only thing that they can see, they are condemned it seems to see anything beyond a party balloon, perhaps their little brain neurons are like little balloons and by reflection they are "forced" to see everything through the "balloon filter" that is hardwired into their brains.

Jeremy Thomas -- March 31 at 8:13pm: A winning Strategy

March 31 at 8:13pm

A winning Strategy.
It is very well known that anybody that want to advance fast to the "cutting-edge" or forefront of any field of human activity the sure winning strategy is to learn the best practices from the "best" in the given field, and the best in any given field are almost always the people getting the better results and results that few other if any had obtained.

I always try to look at what the people getting results are doing, looking at people that are far behind will seldom provide any inside that will get you ahead.

I had mentioned before that I learned of the effectiveness of infrared spotting by looking at the captures of YouTube user colorsufo even when his interpretation was wrong, but what count are the results, and I learned of the effectiveness of high magnification by looking at Urzi captures. The combination of the two is a dual optical system that is a lot more effective that any of its single elements.

By "picking" the brain of the "best" you can reach their level and many times surpass them, that always is a winning strategy.
Jeremy Thomas But as it happens many people are unable to identity who really are the ones getting the "best" and more meaningful results, there is nothing that you can do for that kind of people.

Jeremy Thomas Another good strategy is "competing" against yourself, like a chess player playing against himself: by using different methods and comparing results with previous methods to see if there is any improvement, that always will lead to the fine tuning of your methods.
